Almost caught up with the pictures...

Wes and Sadie at 7 weeks old

Smiles by Wesley

It is so fun to have them smiling so much now!

Sadie also smiles a lot, but not on the day the pictures were taken

Nope, I couldn't get one smile out of this girl

I know I favor my own children- but I think he is simply adorable!

I have a size 10 foot, though now it seems to be more of a 10 1/2 or 11- and that is Wesley's foot at 7 weeks- just for scale- so I can remember how little they were at this age.

Sadie's little foot next to mine- so strange to think that one day she might ask to borrow my shoes!

Justin and Amanda came the first weekend in September and this is Justin being silly. That morning he was teasing Amanda while she was holding Sadie and Amanda said, "your Uncle Justin is crazy" and Sadie gave her the biggest smile!

Just to show how well they are developing their motor skills- they both have a great grasping reflex and shirt collars are the preferred item to grasp lately- gratefully my hair is not such a preferred item for now.

Amanda realized that his onesie has an AC DC tie- a gift from a friend.

Amanda is a terrific aunt- both babies were so happy to be help by her and sadly right after this picture was taken there was a diaper incident and they have now marked her as their own- I really hope those marks washed out though!

These pictures were taken by Amanda one morning while I had a doctor's appointment- I think they are wonderful.

They are laying on the quilt she made for Sadie- I wish I knew her secret for having them look in the same direction at the same time- she really has a natural ability with photography.

Getting ready for the blessing pictures. We had planned on blessing the babies later on in September and then in a matter of a few days all of our plans changed in regard to when I would return to work, Buck being in school, then Amanda and Justin decided to come into town for Labor Day and so with less than a weeks notice we planned the event. I shouldn't say planned- I called my sister-in-law Charla who planned everything and hosted the luncheon at her home and Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Don came from Flagstaff and Randall came with 4 of his kids- Amber was at home with sick kids, Marcia and Caleb came and Ron and Kim Morgan and family were there too. It was a wonderful day.

Our Family

Lots of pictures- a really long post

Our jogging stroller is great- it is so smooth and the weather is slowly cooling off so we can enjoy walks outside. We were very blessed to have several people at the hospital where I work give us the gift of money towards this stroller-they were all very generous and we are so grateful!

Spending time with cousin Elyse- she was born in May and is so fun- her laugh is adorable!

At the end of August one of my missionary companions was in town visiting her in-laws and came to visit with her son Walden. We spent time catching up on life and I am so excited for her and her soon to arrive little girl. She and her family live in the DC area and so our visits together are always a real gift.

A visit from the Quezadas on a Sunday afternoon- I cooked one of my first meals since delivering the twins for them. They are some of the kindest people I know. Lupe was so helpful and they stayed long enough to help with two feedings- I think Milo would enjoy some more grandchildren.

Lupe and Wes

I included this picture because I think my mom and Wesley look wonderful- Sadie is also looking very cute!

Sweet Sadie

More Sadie

Sadie at 7 weeks- still has those big blue eyes and is so alert.

I know it's a blurry picture- but Ilove when infants make this expression- this is around 3 weeks old.

More moving her arms around- such a happy little lady- ago 1 1/2 weeks

So tired after all that eating and burping- she is just a couple of days old here- so precious.
