The night mom lost control of the spoon

I honestly do not know what happened tonight. I must have sneezed or something because truly in the blink of an eye Sadie had the bowl of rice cereal and Wes had the spoon. The had eaten- or attempted to eat most of it already and were quite content to hold the dishes- and since everything washes there was nothing that couldn't be fixed. I am amazed at how quickly they move!

Sadie took great care to cover her entire foot with rice cereal- perhaps it is a treatment that health spas should employ?

I am so curious to know what she was thinking in this moment.

He used the spoon quite well- it won't be too long before he is really using it. I know it is cliche, but they really are growing up so fast!

More practice eating cereal

Have you seen a cuter facer?

This one might be a tie for equally cutest face!

Getting to be so big!

Sadie is learning so many new things- like how to put her toes in her mouth and that she can reach up and grab the mobile on the swing. She also reaches up and grabs the mobile in her crib.

Wes is getting so tall- he used to be able to reach the ground only on his tip toes- now he can stand flat footed in this jumper- he loves to jump in it and has figured out how to spin the seat around so that he can play with all the different toys!

Mini Royals

Age 6 months- Little Sadie feet

A friend gave us these wonderful onesies that say- Twince and Twincess. They came just in time for some 6 month pictures and I made them each little crowns. The keep them entertained during the brief picture taking, I made Sadie a little bouquet of flowers and an extra crown for Wes. I had no idea she would eat her flowers! However, it kept her happy. During their 3 month pictures Sadie was not very content and so we have more pictures of Wes. The opposite is true for their 6 month pictures. Wes was not enjoying himself very much and Sadie thought everything was grand.

The sign that we were done taking pictures- this was the last picture that we took!

He loves to stretch out and flex his muscles

Little Wesley feet

I didn't really get any "perfect" picture of them together- that's the trick of being a twin- there is always someone in your business!

Wes doesn't mind when Sadie falls over on him- he is a good big brother.

She was so distracted by the flowers she was holding that it took her a few minutes to realize there was something on her head. It was my first attempt at a floral wreath and it took my so long I was grateful she was young and had such a little head.

Yes, always someone in your business and trying to take your toys- they are starting to play together and they make eachother laugh. In fact sometimes when they each have a hold of an opposite end of a toy and are pulling to gain full control of the toy- they laugh and think the other one is playing with them by pulling back. I am not sure how much longer that will last, but we are enjoying it for now.

Coming to the end of her picture-taking-tolerance, she just wanted to play.

Our precious Sadie

These two bring us so much joy!
