This summer has been quite hot- in fact the August of 2011 is the warmest August on record for the state of Oklahoma with the months of June and July also posting record breaking temperatures. It has been hard to not be able to go outside and play. The Sunday before Labor Day a cold front moved in and suddenly the temperature was in the 80's. It is forecasted to only last a week, but on Monday- Labor Day- we went to the park and enjoyed the cooler temperatures.
While we weren't able to get a picture with both of them looking up, you can tell they are enjoying themselves. They didn't really care for the baby swings but really liked the tire swing.
