Summer Activities

These pictures got a little out of order. One hot summer day we decided that for a new kind of indoor entertainment we would put Wes in his Halloween costume from last year. I think he is such a cute boy- and he is trying so hard to talk. He makes all kinds of sounds now and understands many words.

This is Sadie in the costume. Wes wore it first but Sadie's pictures came first. She was trying to turn her head and see the top of the costume and lost her balance. She fell and hit the coffee table- this the wet spots on my shirt. This is me 36 weeks pregnant. She is tough and was soon back in action.


I am glad she had a chance to wear it since it doesn't look like it will fit next month. The good thing about living in Oklahoma is that the weather will be cool enough you can wear a costume without getting so hot. The bad thing is that a lot of fairies and princesses will be wearing sweats under their costumes.

The week before the costume day we had some visitors. All the Johnstons and Rocks and my mom came to see us. My mom was on her way home after a summer in Pennsylvania and my two sisters came up from Dallas. This is the only picture we have from the 4 fun days- Sadie, Aunt Amanda, Grandma and Wes.
