July 31, 2010- today my Grandpa turns 80. He and Maryjane came to see us and the 5 day old babies. He said that this brought back a lot of memories for him as he is the father of twins, one of which is my mom- the grandmother to these babies. We had a wonderful visit and I am so grateful for the powerful influence for good he has been in my life.
Four generations- Wes and Sadie, Nadia, Michele and Stanley. My mom and I were busy getting the babies bathed and ready that we did not get ourselves ready- and you can see from my legs that I was still pretty swollen- however, none of this had any effect on a lovely visit.

I love this picture. It shows the beauty of a new life and the beauty of a life well lived- little, soft, new hands supported and kept safe by strong, experienced hands.
