Wes, Me- the new Mom and Sadie
I was so anxious to see the babies. I had to stay in the recovery area until I was strong enough to go the our hospital room and everyone else had seen the babies except for me. Without sounding too cliche I will only say that seeing them for the first time and being able to hold them, I knew I would never be the same.
Aunt Charla came to visit a few hours later. We are very grateful to live close to family.
This has been dubbed the angel picture- Jena is a dear friend and we are just as grateful to live close to her too! This is Wesley and Jena.
Barb and I have worked together for many years and I heard her voice from the other side of the curtain while in the recovery room- while it was a surprise to see her, it just seemed right and it was fun to spend part of that memorable day with her. We didn't take a picture of our friend Traci who also came to see the babies that first day and our first Sunday home Drew and Lauren came to visit and we forgot to take a picture of them too. We are so grateful for all the kindness and support that so many have shown us and our new little family.
